What ages is Toy Phone made for?
Toy Phone is designed for babies and toddlers roughly 6–36 months old — big buttons, no reading required, nothing time-pressured.
Is Toy Phone free?
The app is free, unlimited, and unrestricted for the first 7 days after install. After that, you get 30 minutes of unlimited use every 7 days at no cost. A weekly, monthly, or annual subscription unlocks unlimited access at any time.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — never through the app itself — and can be cancelled anytime from your device's subscription settings. Purchases sit behind a Parent Gate, so a child can't buy anything on their own.
Does Toy Phone track my child or show ads?
No ads, no tracking, no data sold. Nothing your child does in the app — pretend calls, photos, drawings, contact names — ever leaves the device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Where do camera photos go?
Play photos stay in Toy Phone’s private storage. They are not uploaded or automatically added to your phone’s photo library, and a parent can clear them from Parent Centre.
Does Toy Phone need an internet connection?
Play works offline. An internet connection is only needed when Toy Phone checks or updates subscription status.
Can my child call someone, buy something, or leave the app?
Calls are fully pretend and never dial anyone. Purchases and settings sit behind the adult Parent Gate. For stay-in-app protection, a grown-up can enable Apple Guided Access on iPhone or App Pinning on Android.
